So anyways, who here remembers Kuro? If ya don't, I don't blame ya. I haven't drawn the guy in eons!
The character is from 2nd Gen Ceres, although he isn't to be mixed up with a deceased character from Shuyri's original story, Secrets of the Shadow (which I REALLY gotta get to rewriting sometime; please don't look it up, it's insane. xD). This guy is a hybrid fox/human, after all. x3

He was the only male love interest Kage had, although he's very close to Kage regardless of that lil...thing there. xD
Pretty much, the two are clanmates. In Ceres, clanmates are incredibly loyal to their "pack", and do whatever it takes to protect one of their own--even if it means their life.
(This is shown with Ryoku in regards to Etheram, although it won't be elaborated on until Hidden Power... I'm still working on the damn thing, too. 5 chapters shouldn't take so long! xD)

Ah, but Kage and Kuro got along pretty famously, as seen here.
I haven't drawn the lil Chibi in so long, I forgot how to draw his hair properly! So it looks sorta like Ether's style, only shorter.
Blame the yaoi story I was watching earlier, the uke had such a cute 'doo. x3

Anyways...
The flip-phone is Kage's (it's a f*cking NOKIA! Built like BRICKS! And I should know, my black one, despite no longer having a mem card and such, still works...after a charge session. xD), the home phone is his... Except, this doesn't exist after Snow (the 1st 2nd Gen scenario) ends.
I've said it sometime before, but Kage's hometown, Shiroi, ends up completely totalled after the final battle in the Syura Mountains. The reason for this is due to the humongous avalanche that occurs once all is dealt with.
This is why a lot of different story scenarios I have with Kage sometimes mention him living alone with Kuro, while others mention him living with Leon and co. He moves in with Leon after the avalanche destroys the little snow town.
Oh, the irony? xD

I feel like I'm overdoing the spacing here... The paragraphs aren't all that long, I bet, but it certainly looks like it after two long sentences! xD
Anyways, if you read the Favourites story I posted on here (titled Of Cherries and Memories on dA), you know that Kage can barely withstand strong flavours, much less sweet ones. So what the hell is he doing eating Pocky?
Let's just say 2nd Gen Ceres had a thing with Pocky and having (what I'm certain is) impossible Pocky-cream flavourings.
It's cherry-flavoured. That's about it. The character Ring/Cecil is the one responsible for finding these exotic flavours, as they're quite common back where he, Zero and Yami live. x3

Wish my old iPod hadn't derped and needed repairing. I STILL don't have it back, and I'm 70% certain that the battery popping out when we tried fixing the button wiped its memory.
Ahhh, I had some nice 2nd Gen oneshots there, too!

Saying it now, there was a cute gimmick dealing with a weapon-salesman by the name of Haruze. The joke was basically his weapon store (shackcough) being destroyed by a wayward Rei or Nezu, usually by means of being thrown in the air by battle.
The rare Nishi Bird, btw, is associated with this chara, as it's usually the favourite food of all demons on Chounen... Except this guy had a family that would almost constantly want to have one of these fatass birds for dinner.
Seeing as the bird can, by sheer stupid luck, disguise itself as another monster's baby (by wearing a mop and having a really nice voicebox? It was derpily lucky!), this guy had next to no luck catching those things!
At least he gets it during an X-Mas oneshot! I'm not about to make a Trix Rabbit out of one of my NPCs! xD

I gotta rewrite these sometime. Rei revered the Number/Luck/"Magic" God Hachi, which is in the same story that Haruze gets the damn bird, and it was hilariously cruel to him...
For those wondering, follows of the Number God usually contacted him via a Magic 8 Ball. You draw your conclusions there. xD
