Why was scraps recommended for this before I even grabbed the damn file? xD
Anyways, I'll get on Zero's ref after this, any other chara I see fit for a ref, and then the Guard Triad that's present in Gen 2 and beyond. (They're the 3 Core Guards, excluding Wind from the equation. They pop up the most, of all Guards.)

The odd thing with Messiah, aside from his upgraded form of Adaptability, is that he was the result of a Magic Seed Ether and Ryoku created, but ultimately asked Sukoru (the Water Lord and a close friend of Ether's) to carry and nurture. This makes him unrelated to Etheram and Ryoku genetically, although his magic is powerful enough to render him a Lord in rank. Heck, he could be a Guardian if he put his mind to it. xD

But yeah, Messi's really weird to look at in a family-related view. Who is related to him? Technically, Sukoru, who bore him, and Stafi, Sukoru's son. Otherwise, Ether and Ryoku act as his parents, but can't say they're blood related.

In terms of soul-relations, though, Ether and Ryoku got dibs on that. xD

And, as with all genetic abnormalities, Messi is very prone to illness and has a somewhat lower-than-average stamina, even after training. He's quite bright, tho. He's also quick to anger, moreso than Etheram. xD

(He's using Wind magic to deflect the blades from him, btw. It's how his aim is so good, partially, although it exhausts him fast.)

I like how the whip is Griever's father's relic weapon, the Dragonslayer. Etheram never took to it; Griever never had the chance to. So, Messiah's the only one to have used it in his family-line. Sweet. -w-
