Doodle - Lyrica

Lyrica here was a former Homunculus. For those that remember that alternate project I had lined up with Yamikage (sorry that didn't really lift off), so was YK. I've fleshed out the species, though, so let's get to that first. xP

In the Genesis universe, Homunculus are a subtype of humans that have the ability to have the progeny of another species entirely. That being, whoever they hook up with determines the species of their children. They have a Youkai as a partner, they'll have full-blooded Youkai children. In essence, they're pretty much the best surrogate species on Ceres (though Youkai can multiply frigging quickly too). Homunculi tend to also have the ability to use Para Magic, though they're exceedingly rare on Ceres. There's less than 10 in existence, since Homunculi are a created species (thanks Mystics~). They also have a lifespan of about 30 years thanks to how quickly their bodies degenerate the older they get. Because of their unique genetic situation, though, it's possible to convert them into a full-blooded of another species with either energy, life-force or enough blood.

Lyrica here was a child of a Homunculi, in the sense that she was pretty much created in a lab and given to another to take care of her. While her grandmother and mother did care for her, they eventually passed away early because, well, I just said they die young. xD
So Lyrica here was left alone to fend for herself. Growing up in a town where wealth was held above all, and growing up poor, she ended up becoming the owner of her family's pet shop, the "Hapi Exotic Pet Store". Her background actually coincides with the BG of a few other characters I've doodled up and gotten attached to, but I'll get on that when I submit their pics. :3
She's very close with animals, to the point that she goes out of her way to ensure that each pet the store sells gets a home that'll be well-suited to them. She was taken into the group after this trait of hers was noticed, though she was incredibly shy. After she was taken in and told her closest friend/partner there about her species' lifespan, her friend offered to help her by converting her into another species. She ended up taking the offer and became a hybrid species (so she gained husky traits due to her personality). Now she just dreams of opening up the perfect pet shop and living a happy life with her friends and family.

She's not really one of the more notable OCs I have, since she's a tertiary one, but I do like her~

I almost forgot to mention, Lyrica specializes in Sound Magic. Basically, she's a team supporter since she can buff others' stats with her singing. She otherwise lacks the ability to fight.
