Art Trade - Eoreitum

Good GOD, if this didn't take me half a millenium to get to doing! xD
My part of the art trade with :iconopengunner:. I'll admit, I didn't get the proportions spot-on, nor the perspective. I do like how my side (on the right) looks like he's about ready to get up and kick ass, tho. xD

So yeah. Tried anthro for the first time in years (literally). This isn't too bad for me, actually.
I just wish my comp wasn't being a tricky jackass when I was doing this. TIL that, depending on if my comp is plugged in or not, I can/can't see certain shades of white/light grey or black/dark grey very well. Least I found out before I forgot some details.

Tbh, I like the shading job in Opengunner's half more. Mine looks too soft in places.
But I need to learn how to accurately copy certain things. Like proportions. Those fluffy white parts, aaaah, I couldn't get it right. xD

Least I learned some things. Like, "That couch was also a bed!"
At least, I think it was. I made him a throne couch instead. Maybe. Sorta. xD

Eoreitum (or Klockwurth, if I spelled it right) belongs to :iconopengunner:

Hey, just wondering, should we link these to the meme creator? ._.U

This is a very nice excursion from your comfort zone, and I do appreciate that you did try to match the proportions and the anthro style I use. I was honestly expecting a Kemonomini, but this is a nice surprise.  I designed this picture on the left to really challenge your understanding of the body in space and how it rests when in static equilibrium, but not necessarily a static or straight forward pose. I think you did well on this.

If you start doing more dynamic work like this, where it's not just people standing around, you'll start getting better at drawing bodies exponentially, and I'll do my part to push you there, even if it means art trades where the poses are difficult.

The shading you did on this looks cleaner than what I did. I can see you tried to get inventive with the folds of clothing as well. But this looks quite nice and I really love that you would leave your comfort zone to rise to the challenge. The proportions look pretty good (but I think we both messed up the face a bit lol) . The gears and the clock look pretty good too. The white parts at the end of his arm are actually his sleeves rolled up a bit and the inside of the jacket actually has a white lining.

I love it, this was certainly a nice trade experience for me, even if my colorblindness soiled some of the fun.
